47 FL Black Primary Install...

Finally ready to loose the chrome and install the newly restored primary!

Oh with the chrome...

Oh Yeah...

Oh Yeah!

Oh Yeah!!

Oh Yeah!!!

Finally got the chrome primary off the 47 FL and installed one of the restored "Black Beauties" that Mark did for me. I've been waiting for a chance to get this on to complete the look of the Knuckle from back when I first did it. I was a little nervous about the fit but Mark did a great job on this! No trouble at all, it went right on.
So we did end up getting snow today (my kid actually shoveled the driveway)...so what do you do after installing a beautifully restored and painted part on your cycle? You take it out for a ride in the wet, snowy, salty shit...that's what...

Restored Primary Covers

Here are two outta the three Mark did for me...

A before shot of one of 'em...

The three ratty ones I gave to Mark to straighten out and paint...

I just couldn't take the chrome primary cover on my 47 Transformation Project, so I gave Mark three to fix and paint. I figured while he's doing one I may as well get a couple spare for the next projects. I picked them up tonight and they look sweet! I'll get one on the '47 tomorrow I hope...

They're calling for 5-8 inches of snow in Eastern PA tonight and tomorrow so I might be out on the trike or the WLDR snow riding...man I'm getting sick of this fuckin' weather!

Well that about wraps it up for the Love Fest 2013 pictures. Check out the baddest vehicle known to man...Mike's Diamond T. There's some other random shots from our Sunday ride to Apache Junction, the giant cactus and antique tractor show we found, not to mention some shots of Mike's super 48 Pan... Superman.
Sunday afternoon we met up with Ken and Brian and then Sunday night we hit a great outdoor bar with bands, food and fire pits called Greasewood Flats. It was another great trip and I can't thank Mike enough for rolling out the red carpet!
And thanks to Jeremiah for putting on another (dare I say)"Epic" party!

Love Reign (Rain) O're Me - Part 3

Beer runs got dangerous...don't everybody help at once...

'bout time...

Police Helicopter surveying the sitch...

No shit...I come to AZ from Philly and it's 32 degrees!!!

Saturday was just as nasty, weather wise...Me, Mike and Dan rode back out to the lake to find the group in good spirits even though it was in the 30's and pouring most of the night. As a matter of fact we hit some snow on the way back out there...
There were a bunch more bikes than the day before. We heard stories from guys riding in from California in the middle of the night getting lost...apparently the location was not the easiest place to find at 3 AM after riding all night...dark, rain, winding dirt roads...but they all eventually got there.
We spent the day bull shittin', checking out bikes and eating an incredible polo, something or other, lunch...tasted like chicken....it was great! I think I ate way more then my share and encroached on a beer or two as well.
The beer runs and beach/sand riding got a little dicey now and again, I've never seen so many belt drives break belts in one day...I guess the open belts don't like to lay over in the sand and gravel while running...go figure?
The police helicopter even flew around to make sure we were all OK...that was nice of them...

After a great day at the lake the three of us headed out to a Mexican restaurant back in town to warm up inside and out. More food and Mexican beer!

More to come...
